USS Constellation (mid size)
The USS Constellation was built in Baltimore and launched September 7, 1797. She saw service during the Quasi War with France and in 1799 defeated the French frigate L'Insurgente. She remained in service until 1854 when she was broken up at Norfolk, Virginia. Many of her timbers were used for the construction of the corvette.. She is currently in a museum in Baltimore. Model is fully assembled and ready for display. We also have table/ floor display cases available with plexiglass to preserve the model away from dust.
